Jona Headon is a London-based writer of Ghanaian-British descent, skillfully exploring the realms of horror and drama. A graduate of Animation Production at Arts University Bournemouth, Jona brings a passion for storytelling that has been unwavering since his early days. He defies expectations by shocking and astonishing his audience through the immersive genres, delving into the depths of the human psyche and the intricacies of human connections.
His co-written short film Luna (2023) is an official selection at the Norwich Film Festival and the London Lift-Off Film Festival. Jona’s feature film script Alabama Stolen is currently out to financiers in the US and is being produced by Cowboy Cosmonaut Films. He is also currently in pre-production for his short film Small Spaces.
